Customers will create their own User Account to conduct business online with the Division. Account consist of a role, user name, password, email address and security question/answer.

Password must be a minimum 6 characters, with at least one number. Example: sunshine9

Those documents required by the Department as original hard-copy must be mailed or hand delivered.

Customers will manage their own user accounts including passwords. Passwords must be a minimum of 9 characters long, begin with a text character (upper or lower case) and include at least one non alpha character and number.

Security questions/answers are provided by the customer. It is recommended not to use birthdates or places that can easily be guessed.

Due to being a secure site, only Division staff processing the application will see input data and attached documents.

Applications are stored in a que where Division staff will routinely check throughout the workday. It is possible that staff will process same day, however expect next day processing due to timing of submittals and Division workload.

The application is marked as received once submitted.

Businesses and Individuals are able to renew their license online for those licenses supported online. See FAQ #2 for available license types.

New application for license can be completed online in a single session. Customers must be prepared to supply answers to all questions on the application and submit any documents required of the license.

Commercial Telephone Salesperson can apply, pay and receive their Interim Operating Authority on the same day once the Business has processed the Statement of Verification.

A confirmation notice will appear on the screen.

Licenses are mailed immediately once Division staff approve the application. Please allow 2-3 weeks. If there is an error or deficiency, Division staff will mail a notice to the mailing address provided in the application.

Individual information asked on the application will be available online for modification at any time during the license period. Any fees applicable to complete the material change can be paid online. Changes take place immediately.

Yes. Businesses can allow multiple employees to have access to a single user account or, assign each employee a single user account to access the company registration. This will be an internal control performed by the business.
